About the production

A fierce and fabulous new costume drama musical about Henry Cyril Paget, the crossdressing 5th Marquis of Anglesey. Born in 1875, poised to inherit the Empire, he instead burned brightly, briefly and transvestitely; blowing his family's godlike wealth putting on glittering, diamondstudded plays starring him (which nobody actually came to).

When he died at 29, his family burnt every record of his life, and carried on as though he'd never existed. From the brain of Seiriol Davies and directed by Alex Swift (both from Caroline Horton & Co's "Mess") comes a hilarious, rippedup extravaganza about being too weird for the world, but desperately not wanting it to forget you.
