Living Pictures Productions are a registered charity formed in 1999 by Elen and Robert Bowman. The company patrons are: Katie Mitchell OBE, Dominic Cooke MBE, Ian Rickson and Mike Alfreds. The Company was formed to find new and engaging ways to develop and perform theatre art.
Living Pictures annually stage and tour productions in Wales and the UK. Past productions include Sexual Perversity in Chicago, Miss Julie, Free from Sorrow, The Nest and Andromache. The company provide further development for emerging Directors, Writers and Actors in London, Derby, Glasgow, Cardiff and Carmarthen. They are currently planning to build a Creative learning Eco-centre on a four acre site in Carmarthenshire. The Centre will offer a rare opportunity for UK theatre makers to take time to develop their authentic voices and encourage creative development for adults and children.
