IETM Bursaries

IETM Bursaries

What are the Wales Arts International IETM Bursaries?

Wales Arts International is offering support for arts organisations, producing companies and individual practitioners based in Wales who are working in the context of performing arts to participate in the IETM Satellite meeting Llandudno (13-16 September 2018) and in one other IETM meeting in 2018 or 2019.

IETM – International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts – is a network of over 500 performing arts organisations and individual members working in the contemporary arts worldwide: theatre, dance, circus, interdisciplinary live arts and new media.

Wales Arts International is working in partnership with IETM and Karine Decorne to host a satellite meeting in Llandudno, North Wales, between 13-16 September 2018. Titled Fields of Vision: other voices, rural places, global stories, the meeting will ask questions about what’s happening beyond the metropolis; what does it mean to be an artist in a rural context; what models of practice are there, working with existing culture, connecting communities and re-exploring traditions?

The next IETM plenary meeting will be held in Munich between1-4 November 2018. There will be two plenary meetings in 2019, details to be announced.

A maximum of 5 bursaries will be available.
