British Dance Edition Cymru 2016

British Dance Edition, the biennial showcase for British Dance, is being hosted in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff and its neighbouring city Newport, between 15 and 18 March 2016.

Established in 1998 and now recognised as the leading showcase for British dance, 36 established and emerging British dance companies can be seen during a four day period. The companies presenting their work range from those with a great track record such as Akram Khan Company, Phoenix Dance and Wendy Houston to new artists who are already having an impact - Project O, Igor and Moreno, Lost Dog and Robbie Synge.

British Dance Edition is a unique opportunity to see dance works that are ready for touring both in the UK and internationally, many of which have already received critical acclaim. It's also a great chance to network with dance promoters from around the world – we're expect over 370 delegates.

In addition to the many performances and presentations, there will be a trade show with representatives from 70 companies pitching their work and numerous networking and reception events.
