Performing Arts Market in Seoul, PAMS 2014

This week, the 10th Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS) kicks off with a plethora of international performances aimed at reaching new global audiences. For 2014, a total of ten works have been selected for the PAMS Choice performances from South Korean companies, alongside a shortlist of international showcases. http://en.pams.or.kr/program/pro01.asp

This year, the PAMS Booth Exhibition (a space for networking, communication and production exchanges) is accompanied by speed dating for theatre reps, festival programmers and other performing arts professionals, and PAMS Buddy, an opportunity to learn more about the culture and performing arts of Korea. They’ve got pop-up stages and round-table sessions for delegates, and a newsletter jam-packed with updates. http://en.pams.or.kr/board/newsletter_app.asp

You can keep up to date with the conference remotely via their Twitter @TheApro or website. Get in touch if you’re interested to attend PAMS next year, and keep an eye out for updates on their website in the Spring for registration.
