Wales Arts International and Méduse are collaborating on a series of residencies for Wales based practitioners. Méduse is a collective that brings together under one roof ten organisations involved in the cultural and community life of Québec City. The organisations resident within the Méduse complex span a wide cross-section of artistic and cultural practice that includes audio and electronic art, engraving and printmaking, experimental film and video, wood working, metal and photography.
| | Wales Arts International has established a three year residency programme with The Clay Studio for ceramic artists based in Wales, starting in September 2007. The Clay Studio in Philadelphia is a residency centre, gallery and development resource for ceramic artists.
Catrin Howell was the first to take up this residency in 2007 and David Cushway in March 2008. Anne Gibbs was the latest to take up the residency in March 2009. The next residency will take place in late 2010. Deadline 28 July 2010 - read more.
